Aesthetic aspects of orthodontic treatment have emerged prominently in recent years due to increasing concern among people about their appearance. Individuals are not only concerned about their appearance post-treatment period, they are equally worried about it when the treatment is still continuing. Apart from youngsters that are keen about outward appearance, adult patients are equally interested in aesthetics as it affects their professional, social, and psychological well-being. With the increasing aesthetic concern, many new techniques have been developed in such a way that it would not alter the physical appearance of the patient. This special issue on Aesthetic Purposes and Devices in Orthodontic Therapy encourages and supports research and ideas on developing devices and improved techniques for orthodontic therapy.
